One of our two, lovingly maintained, and historic, first generation diesel-electric locomotives takes passengers along the route of the former L&N Alabama Mineral Railroad as they travel through the scenic forests of Shelby County.

Take a trip back to the days of steam on the Shelby & Southern Narrow-Gauge Steam Railroad! Enjoy the sights and sounds of an authentic steam locomotive as it pulls its coaches over 3/4 mile of narrow-gauge railroad.
